Mary (Julia Ann), a successful magazine journalist known for her compelling pieces on Afghanistan and Somalia warfare has just been given an assignment that she is not thrilled about doing at all. The subject of the piece causing Mary?s turmoil you ask? Dating in the 21st century. Convinced that she is not the right woman for the job after several failed attempts at dating, Mary tries desperately to persuade her boss to give the assignment to someone else. Mary?s boss on the other hand, refuses to release Mary from the assignment certain that he picked the right writer for the job. Mary?s new neighbor Dave, who is quite smitten with Mary, tries to lend Mary a hand in completing her assignment, but the only thing he succeeds in doing is complicating things even more. What Mary soon discovers though is that sometimes love comes when you are not searching for it.
